MARVIN S. LIEBERMAN
Mr. Lieberman entered Lafayette College in 1951 as a “Ford Foundation Scholar” at the age of 16, skipping his senior year at Somerville High School. Upon graduation from Lafayette with the rank of “Distinction” in his major field of study he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for over three years.

He graduated from the Rutgers School of Law in 1962 and, after serving the then required clerkship, was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar in 1963.

In 1971, having been an associate and then a partner in the Perth Amboy law firm of “Levinson, Conover, Lieberman and Fink” (now Levinson Axelrod) he opened his own practice in Hillsborough Township, continuing to specialize in the representation of those who had been injured or disabled. He later moved his offices to Somerville and Flemington.

In the early 1980’s the New Jersey Supreme Court permitted lawyers, who could meet certain qualifications, to apply for certification as a “Civil Trial Attorney”. He received his initial certification in 1985 and has been re-certified on two subsequent occasions.

He has been recognized in the New Jersey Magazine as one of the outstanding personal injury lawyers in the State of New Jersey.

He continue to confine his practice to the personal injury, workers’ compensation and Social Security disability fields obtaining substantial money damages and benefits for his clients.

He maintains his belief that everyone who calls his law firm is entitled to– and will speak to a lawyer.

ROBERT FORREST
Mr. Forrest grew up in Manhattan and attended the Dalton School in New York City. Upon graduation he entered New York University, obtaining his Undergraduate Degree in 1980. He thereafter was admitted to the Hofstra University School of Law graduating in 1982 with a Juris Doctor Degree.

Mr. Forrest was admitted to the New York Bar and the New Jersey Bar and joined the firm in 1989 immediately devoting himself to the handling of a wide range of personal injury claims, participating in difficult and protracted trials if necessary, and when, in the interests of his client, negotiating the best settlements possible.

Mr. Forrest’s experience includes the handling of extensive claims arising out of defective products, automobile accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and a wide variety of other types of personal injury matters.

As a result of his overall success, he has become the firm’s “Lead Counsel”.

CRAIG VOORHEES
Upon joining the firm after an exceptional and rewarding career as an Assistant Prosecutor in Somerset County, he took over the Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability Departments of the firm, as well as maintaining his interest in the criminal side by engaging in an active municipal court practice.

He is one of less than 2% of all attorneys in New Jersey to have been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a “Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney”, a designation granted only to those who have satisfied a number of rigorous requirements which includes the handling of a certain number of claims, successfully attending a required number of legal educational seminars, being recognized as qualified by your peers and the judges before whom you appear, and then, passing a comprehensive written examination.

His success rate in the handling of Social Security disability appeals for those who have been denied benefits on their initial application is staggering, having been successful in over 90% of the cases.

He continues to maintain an active role in the community serving as Board President of the Samaritan, Homeless Interim Program (SHIP), which provides assistance to the homeless, near homeless and working poor families. He also serves as a member of the Lambertville Board of Education.
