Suspected DUI driver causes five-car crash in New Jersey

A 40-year-old man from East Brunswick is said to have caused a five-car crash in East Windsor while under the influence of alcohol. The accident occurred at around 2:40 p.m. on March 28 on Route 130 by the intersection with Town Center Road. The driver was behind the wheel of a black Mercedes-Benz as he headed south on Route 130 towards the left-turn lane.

Woman convicted of vehicular homicide in New Jersey

A New Jersey jury in Somerset County examined evidence in the courtroom and at the accident scene to determine if a woman was behind the wheel of a BMW when it struck and killed a man on Interstate 78 in Warren. Prosecutors said the woman first admitted she was the driver, but later claimed her husband had been driving the car. Prosecutors suggest that she was lying so that she could escape a vehicular homicide conviction that could put her in prison for up to 10 years. On March 17, the jury convicted the woman of the charge.

22-year-old New Jersey man loses his life on the Parkway

On March 9, at approximately 3:45 a.m., an accident involving three cars took the life of a young man from Linden, according to New Jersey State Police. The accident occurred on the Garden State Parkway near mile marker 137.9 heading southbound.
