Manchester Township motorcyclist killed

Motorcycle riding is a popular way for many New Jersey residents to get around. Most drivers know how important it is to watch for motorcycles while driving, but unfortunately motorcycle accidents do still occur. When a loved one has been the victim of a motorcycle accident, families can be torn apart.

A Whiting man was killed this past week when the motorcycle he was riding was struck from behind. The Harley motorcycle driver was slowing down to make a turn onto Roosevelt City Rd. off Route 70 when he was struck by a Chevrolet Prism. The motorcycle driver was given medical attention at the scene but unfortunately was not able to be resuscitated.

Losing a loved one unexpectedly in a fatal motorcycle crash is a traumatic experience for families. Their loved one was a treasured member of the family, a breadwinner, a loving parent, and a beloved spouse. If a family has been affected by a motorcycle accident, they may want to speak with a legal professional who is skilled in personal injury. An attorney can visit the accident scene, speak with witnesses, review police reports, and help determine what happened to cause the accident and if there was a negligent driver involved. Compensation may be available for funeral expenses, medical expenses, pain and suffering, and other damages.

Losing a loved one in a tragic accident affects thousands of people in New Jersey and across the United States each year. If the accident was the result of a negligent driver, it is important to hold them responsible. Victims of negligent drivers have legal rights.
